My first week at Vanguard was great. It appears that Vanguard's reputation for committment to its employees and clients is well-founded. My entering class of 15 is a very diverse, interesting and committed bunch. And it looks like I am well on my way to aceing my licensing exams. My mutual fund experience, all the episodes of Marketplace I have listened to, and my hobby of reading economics books are paying great dividends. I am going into the office tomorrow morning for some extra study with my classmates.
Charlotte is even better than I thought, and my neighborhood seems to have all the amenities. My commute is a piece of cake.
In sum, I am PSYCHED! Thank you all for your support during my transition from the academy to business. I couldn't have done it without you!
